Summary 

Plus One Robotics is a world leader in machine vision software for robots in logistics at Fortune 100 companies. Our software leverages AI and includes our on-demand remote human support network to learn and improve accuracy over time, achieving the highest pick quality regardless of changes in product flow or environment.

Join our high-growth company as VP of Marketing and Communications. You will be a member of the executive leadership team and will work closely with the team and the Chief Revenue Officer to define, implement, and manage marketing strategy, craft messaging, review budget, and set short- and long-term goals.

Your objective is to promote the Plus One brand strategically and creatively to stakeholders including potential customers, employees, collaborators, and investors. You will develop strong working relationships and collaborate with product management and the sales and marketing teams to understand the voice of the customer, track market trends, ensure alignment and focus, and analyze business intelligence to plan and execute corporate marketing and public relations campaigns.

You will thrive amidst the high-growth and changing business processes at a cutting-edge technology company. You will own and oversee the marketing and communication activities of Plus One including brand building, press, customer acquisition, web, social media, video, trade shows, our customer experience center, and events. You will also lead all research and marketing analytics for Plus One, identifying both best practices and global market opportunities that arise from the research. Finally, you will be responsible for all paid and earned media and will actively drive the Plus One public relations outreach around the globe.


Essential Functions

  • Build, promote, manage, and protect the Plus One brand, slogans, and reputation
  • Identify and plan differentiated and impactful marketing strategies/materials
  • Build, manage, and coach a high-performing marketing team to include a product marketing manager
  • Drive the implementation of marketing campaigns that meet business objectives and drive top of funnel leads
  • Direct and support market research collection, analysis, and interpretation of market data for short- and long-term market forecasts and reports.
  • Work closely with the global sales department to align sales and marketing strategies
  • Manage marketing budget and expenditures
  • Develop and execute public relations plan as well as industry event schedule
  • Oversee and manage outside marketing agencies
  • Identify competitors and evaluate their strategies and positioning and devise counterstrategies

 

Qualifications

  • Team player and self-starter. Early-stage company experience a plus

Education and Experience 

  • Bachelor of Science or Business in Communications, Marketing, or related field required
  • Master of Business Administration with emphasis in Marketing or Communications preferred
  • Previous working experience as a Marketing Director for 5+ year(s) with complex, integrated systems in warehousing and distribution center automation
  • Experience with market/vertical development such as Parcel/Post, General Merchandise, and 3rd Party Logistics
  • Strong experience in business-to-business marketing required
  • 3+ years’ people management experience required
  • Public relations and communications experience required
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Experience in HubSpot, Salesforce, PR Agility, On24, Webflow, and Outreach preferred


Additional Eligibility Qualification

  • Must have a valid passport.
  • Must be able to travel both nationally and internationally.

Work Environment
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, cameras, photocopiers, and filing cabinets. This position will require travel both on an airplane and long-distance drives in a car. This position will also have occasional work in the warehouse, either in our facility or our customers.’ While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts, and vibration. The noise level in the work environment and job sites can be loud.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
Full time, between M-F, 9:00am-6:00pm.


Travel
20-40%. Occasional travel outside the local area and overnight. Some travel is international.


Work Authorization
